This design is an exercise in simplicity, elegance, and beauty. The fact that this pattern exists by clicking together just over five hundred standard LEGO plates is just remarkable to me. This design contains 21 rotational symmetries, chirality, and no true lines of reflective symmetry. And despite being made of perfectly straight LEGO plates under no stress, it forms a nearly perfect circle around its border. Discovering this pattern was like finding a hidden treasure in the nature of these LEGO plates.
