This design is so difficult to describe. Rounded square negative space, implied circles, and hexagonal patterning all rolled up into one. For some reason it just feels 'mechanical'. What's even more interesting is that when I first sat down with this element I literally thought that this was the one piece that I likely couldn't leverage for what I do. How wrong I was. It only proves the point that you should never completely dismiss potential opportunities, and this fascinating hexagonal motif simply proves that for me.
